A Note from Miss Kayla and Miss Jillian
Happy New Year! We hope that you had a wonderful holiday with your friends and family! Classes resume Friday January 5th, 2018.
There are many exciting things happening in 2018, and we will be taking some class time to think about our “New Years Musical Resolutions”, and working together to make a plan to accomplish these resolutions.
Our music recital is quickly approaching on May 2nd, and this year the theme will be “Stand Up”, which is all about being a good friend, being the change you wish to see, and doing the right thing. Think about what this means to you, and whether there are any pieces of music that you think reflect this theme.
Throughout the month of January, we will be offering free music trial classes for anyone who wants to come and experience a private music lesson! If you have any friends or family who would love a free lesson, they can easily reserve a spot through our website!
We are also excited to announce two new group music classes for our little musicians! We are introducing Tempo Tots (ages 0-2) and Melody Movers (ages 3-4). Tempo Tots is a parented class where parents can explore music and movement with their baby, and Melody Movers builds independence in a fun musical atmosphere. Full class descriptions are available on the website, and we encourage you to sign your child up for a free trial class to try it out!

Parent Viewing Week- January 22-27
A donation to the food bank will gain parents entry to their child’s lesson. This is a great chance to see how a music lesson works, what your children are working on, and gain insights into how to implement positive practicing methods at home!
Musical Fun Fact!
Did you know that flowers can grow faster if they listen to music? Maybe you can experiment, and see what kind of music your flowers prefer!
